Marble cake from Hokkaido pumpkin

  • 500 g Hokkaido pumpkin
  • 400 g of semi-grain flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 1 baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 glass of oil

Peel the Hokkaido pumpkin, scoop out the seeds and grate coarsely. Mix the Hokkaido pumpkin with the flour, sugar, eggs, baking powder and oil. Mix everything carefully and create dough. Dust the form for the cake for example with coconut, semi-grain flour or breadcrumbs and pour half the dough from pumpkin Hokkaido into it. Add to the second half of the dough three tablespoons cocoa and then also pour it into the form. This way we get a beautiful two-coloured marble cake from pumpkin Hokkaido. Preheat the oven and let the cake bake. Pierce the dough with skewer and if the dough isn't stick on to it, then the marble cake is ready.
